ISRAEL PLASTIC POLLUTION PREVENTION COALITION (IPPPC)

The Mission:
The mission of the coalition is to reduce Israel’s dependence on single-use plastic, to adopt plastic alternatives, and ultimately drive the country towards a sustainable future in which plastic is only used when necessary.
The coalition is an alliance of non-profit organizations, researchers, and activists. As our strategy requires all sectors to work in partnership to achieve our goals, the coalition will partner with businesses, municipalities, and other stakeholders.
Goals:
To engage decision-makers on the local and national level and to advocate for policies and legislation around reducing plastic use.
To provide educational services and consumer awareness campaigns to promote a consumer culture that encourages more sustainable companies and more sustainable products.
To support and promote innovation and research into plastic alternative products and the logistics needed.
To provide a centralized database/hub for trusted information for data and research regarding plastic use, plastic pollution and plastic alternatives.
